I dig this spot and look forward to heading back here and trying out other healthy dishes from their menu, which is a great alternative to a lot of the heavier types of food offered around in the neighborhood. Chimera has quality espresso coffee and a nice ambiance that reflects a hip and 'alternative' scene in Tulsa. Hearty, delicious, a bit messy, but well worth your bites and very filling. Second up was there Super Veggie Wrap with portobello, bell pepper, onion, tomato sautéed in garlic & ginger with spring mix, crema and cilantro in a flour tortilla with cashew provolone. Chimera also serves up a damn fine cup of joe and, bonus, they have a full bar at your service. I absolutely loved every bite of this dish and really wish I had more of the carrot habanero cream which was friggin' great (great kick to it!). The Tokyo Eye is a vegetarian-friendly option with an Asian twist, featuring tofu scramble, smoked adzuki strips, poblano saut, and avocado crema. First up was their Avocado Toast with pico de gallo, micro greens, sourdough bread, carrot habanero cream, tofu quest fresco and a medium fried egg. And I say that because this is one of the first restaurants I had been to in Tulsa since visiting from NYC, and I was like, "Oh, hey, magic is real because I've been magically transported to Brooklyn." Alas, I was actually in Tulsa all along inside a coffee spot that has some pretty good options, and pretty good coffee but is absolutely a haven for hipster and Gen-Zers. ![]() It's not crazy expensive but it's also not cheap, but it is worth trying!!!įirst time I came here I thought I had accidentally jumped on the L train and taken it to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We did not tell the workers, well the place was pretty busy & two, we didn't want to bring attention to it. I for sure would have given five stars, but we did not get greeted & there was a little creepy crawler on the wall right by where we was eating. It's enough tea for two people if you order one honestly (we did not know that). First sip was different, but second on out was pretty great. Let me add that we have never tried vegan before.
